Registrar vs. Host
Are you confused about the difference between a “registrar” and a “host”?
A Registrar is the company you use to register your domain name (what one types into the URL bar to get to your website.)
A Host is the company you use to host your website. The Host provides space on their servers for your website files and from where visitors to your site can view your website. The Host often offers additional services such as matching e-mails and other tools useful to businesses and individuals.
A registrar and a host can be the same company, but does not have to be. There are often good deals to be found for both service offerngs.
